Now what exactly does that mean? Absolutely nothing...

At a fraction of a hair taller than Will Proctor, Willy Korn stands 6'2", weighs in at roughly 200lbs. I like my Quarterbacks tall. There's just something about 6'4" and 6'5" Quarterbacks, I reckon that's because it normally translates into NFL potential, and that's always good!

Korn is not lightning fast, but he will bring back some memories of Woodrow. A 4.55, 40 yard dash. That's better than Charlie.

I hear all the time, "Korn's just like ______!" -add a name in the blank.

Willy Korn is just like Willy Korn. He'll put his own name in the record books. He won't rush for yards like Woodrow and he won't pass up Charlie. He's gonna bring a whole new playbook to Clemson. Trust me, i've seen him write in it during a game! (He was at the FSU game, dilligently taking notes)

Check out THIS You might laugh, you might not, it doesn't matter... it's here, read it, laugh, throw things across the room, scream like a girl, I don't care what you do, enjoy...

We always hear " the rules" from the female side.

Now here are the rules from the male side.
These are our rules!

Please note.. these are all numbered "1"
ON PURPOSE!

1. Men are NOT mind readers.

1. Learn to work the toilet seat.
You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down.
We need it up, you need it down.
You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.

1. Sunday sports: It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.

1. Shopping is NOT a sport.
And no, we are never going to think of it that way.

1. Crying is blackmail.

1. Ask for what you want.
Let us be clear on this one:
Subtle hints do not work!
Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work!
Just say it!

1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do.
Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

1. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a Problem.
See a doctor.

1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument.
In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 Days.

1. If you won't dress like the Victoria's Secret girls, don't Expect us to act like soap opera guys.

1. If you think you're fat, you probably are (which is perfectly fine).
Don't ask us.

1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, WE MEANT THE OTHER ONE!

1. You can either ask us to do something
Or tell us how you want it done.
Not both.
If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.

1. Whenever possible, Please say whatever you have to say during commercials.

1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.

1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings.
Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.

1. If it itches, it will be scratched.
We do that.

1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," We will act like nothing's wrong.
We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.

1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, Expect an answer you don't want to hear.

1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine... Really.

1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as baseball, the shotgun formation,
or golf.

1. You have enough clothes.

1. You have too many shoes.

1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape!

1. So what, he doesn't want to sign autographs or be hounded by the press. Put yourself in his shoes. You're booed everywhere you go, except in San Fransisco. The media MOBS you everytime you step off the field, and you've been accused of using steroids everyday for about 5 years. Would you want to be "friendly" to people, would you be a "people person"? I am afraid not. Who gives a frogs fat butt if he doesn't sign a baseball, who gives a frogs fat butt if he doesn't want to talk to the media today. WHO CARES?! You wouldn't either.

OK, here's a list of people that were first accused of juicing up...

Mark McGwire
Sammy Sosa
Rafael Palmeiro
Jose Canseco
Curt Schilling
Jason Giambi
Barry Bonds

Mark McGwire - Never admitted to it, and never has been caught.
Sammy Sosa - Retired a season after being accused.
Rafeal Palmeiro - Retired after lying about using roids.
Jose Canseco - Hasn't played in a long time. Got in trouble with the law and decided to make some qucik $$$ and wrote a book, Juiced, that started this whole steroid thing up. Admitted to the use of roids.
Curt Schilling- Accused of juicing up. Never found to be guilty, is pitching one of the best season's of his career this year.
Jason Giambi - Accused, lied, admitted to using, appoligized for lying, struggled for a while and is now having an Awesome career once again.
Barry Bonds - Accused, never found guilty. Never knowingly took roids. Bouncing back from chronic knee injuries. Chasing the Babe and Aaron on the HR list.

Mark McGwire, probably did juice up. But until he gets caught, he's innocent.

Isn't it funny that Sammy Sosa retired? He had to get off the juice and knew if he stayed on them he would get caught, so he called it quits!

The same thing with Rafeal Palmeiro, except he did get caught, should have quit while he was ahead ("I never took steroids" *shaking his finger to the judge*)

Jose Canseco, takes roids and doesn't care who knows!

Curt Schilling, probably never has juiced up, he was just awesome and someone had to find something bad against him!

Jason Giambi has huge stones! How can you lie about, say your sorry, and still be able to play baseball at the level that he plays? I hate the Yanks, but he's got stones of steel.

Don't you think that Barry would have just called it quits like Sammy did? If he is doing roids, he will get caught. But I don't think he is using them! He may have used them at one point, but how many of you that have worked out hasn't thought about it, or did it yourself? I'm not saying he did use them and I really don't care if he did or didn't. Sticking a needle in your butt to make your arms bloated, has nothing to do with hand eye coordination. If he is ever proven to have used roids, ill join the crowd and curse his name, but until then, I am a huge fan! I hope he breaks Ruth and Aarons, I hope he sets the bar high for the next guy in line!

Go Bonds!

I'm out!

Matthew 24:42-44

...keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come... if the owner of the house had known at what time of night the theif was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into... you must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour that you do not expect him.

Matthew 24:42-44 (NIV)

76 more days

I can't wait for NCAA 07 to come out! I could care less if an NFL agent personally gave Reggie Bush a 2,000,000 dollar check on national televison... it wouldn't have made him run faster or be more elusive... people are just pissed off that a team was built that good... and they are trying to find ways to take what is right fully theirs away.

"The players get paid in an education" ... a very true statement. However... the university makes MILLIONS more off of JERSEY SALES AND TICKET PRICES... if it wasn't for certain players, people wouldn't pack out the stadiums!

They should drop all that crap about recieving benefits from outside people. If someone offered me a 350 thousand dollar home, i'd take it too... and the people that are making these rules up would as well! You shouldn't make rules, that you wouldn't be able to follow yourself, if you were in their shoes! its completely ridiculous!

GO Trojans. Mario Williams will be a good player, but I still believe that Reggie Bush will be the "next" generation running back. The Gayle Sayers of our time. The ELVIS of football... I don't know about you, but I am already pulling for the Saints. They might in fact be my favorite team, my number one if you will. Reggie is exactly what the city of New Orleans needs! Whether you think so or not.

How many of you thought about going to see the Saints play last year... probably nobody.

How many of you thought about going to see the Saints play in previous years. Once again, probably nobody.

You know how many times I have thought about going to see the Saints play? NEVER ... until yesterday. I looked it up on the internet of when their closest game was! It's in Atlanta in November. And yes, I am planning on making that trip!

Now if the drafting of Reggie Bush makes me want to go see the Saints play... how many others like myself, or even more hard core, would make that trip... or even pull for that team? It's awesome how that worked out! I can't wait for my Bush jersey to arrive! If the Saints could only get a big name wide out!

As for Tye Hill... Kudos to you my brother. Awesome job. 15th overall to a semi decent team. I really thought they would go for a T.E. but the best one was gone (Vernon Davis). --side note-- my draft board was with no trades--

I really don't understand the Chargers decision to take Whitehurst. Phillip Rivers and Charlie Whitehurst... number one and number three on the all time yards list in the ACC. If you look at film, Charlies mechanics are awesome... and Rivers is a step below. Charlie has the perfect drop back and pass. Rivers has the same intangibles, but has a Vince Young throwing motion. I don't understand the draft pick, unless they are hoping for some leverage on a trade in the next couple of years. It's not good for Charlie to be on that team. There's really no Veteran influence. A.J. Feeley? And Phil's a pup himself. Only time will tell. I really thought Whitehurst would have gone to Minnesota... but they took some crap pipe from Alabama State named Travaris Jackson... or something close to that spelling. A nobody. I guess they wanted a scrambler.

I am looking foward to this years NFL season though. It will probably be a good one!

I am out!

My draft board... not that you care.

1. Texans - Reggie Bush - DUH!!! Game changer!
2. Saints - DeBrickashaw Ferguson - He's 300lbs with a black belt.
3. Titans - Matt Leinart - Heisman Trophy, National Championship(s). Golden Arm
4. Jets - A.J. Hawk - Pure AWESOME! and has a hot girlfriend.
5. Packers - Mario Williams - What a BEAST - 6ft 7 inches (the next Peppers)
6. Niners - Winston Justice - You spent 40 mil on Smith - Protect him
7. Raiders - Vince Young - I still think this is too early for him, but gotta play it safe.
8. Bills - Haloti Ngata - He's HUGE. He's quick. And they would like to add to their defense.
9. Lions - Jimmy Williams - Past 3 years went to offense. time for a change.
10. Cardinals - Jay Cutler - Mel's got this one right. Perfect fit.
11. Rams - Vernon Davis - New coach utilizes the TE well and they don't have a good one.
12. Browns - Brodrick Bunkley - they use a 3-4. And they need a fresh face.
13. Ravens - Tye Hill - Lacks size. But the fastest guy in the draft. (my hero)
14. Eagles - Chad Jackson - they need a WR. he's the best in this class.
15. Broncos - Leonard Pope - HUGE guy! Will be able to step right in and play at this level.
16. Dolphins - Michael Huff - Defense wins championships and Huff has ONE!
17. Vikings - Chad Greenway - OLB is a need, and this is the man for that job.
18. Cowboys- Ernie Simms - they've got the offense set, Demarcus Ware needs a compliment.
19. Chargers - Marcus McNeil - Gotta protect Phillip Rivers... this guy is HUGE
20. Chiefs - Jonathan Joseph - 4.31 40. 2nd fastest CB at combine.
21. Patriots - Bobby Carpenter - Offense is good, but defense is getting old. time for a new face.
22. Niners - Donte Whitner - can play either Safety or Corner... both are a need.
23. Bucs - Santonio Holmes - Simms needs a new target. If he's a bust at WR move to CB
24. Bengals - Manny Lawson - offense is a thing of beauty. work on the D
25. Giants - Sinorice Moss - Toomer is aging and Plaxico will need a wingman for the future.
26. Bears - Eric Wintson - QB's need time and RB's need holes.
27. Panthers- Len'Dale White - Davis is gone. Foster isn't that good and Goings SUCKS.
28. Jaguars - Marcedes Lewis - Matt Jones turned out to be a WR. and they need a TE
29. Jets - DeAngelo Williams - Martin's out of gas. Give it to the 5'9" lightning BOLT
30. Colts - Lawrence Maroney - hopefully he'll be there for them, if he's not, they're screwed!
31. Seahawks - Tamba Hali - Winstrom could use another beast and Hali is a beast.
32. Steelers - Darnell Bing - They won't pick him, but they should. Mark my words!

People that should have stayed in school: Lawrence Maroney, Len'Dale White, Ko Simpson, Vince Young, Antonio Cromartie, Santonio Holmes, Donte Whitner and Richard Marshall. I am sure there are more, but I can't remember them all.

Guys I think will have successful NFL careers, that won't go first round.

QB : Kellen Clemens and Charlie Whitehurst
RB: Jerome Harrison and Mike Bell
WR: Martin Nance and Maurice Stovall
DE: Chris Cocong
CB: DeMario Minter and Will Blackmon

Guys that will suck that people are HIGH on:

Vince Young - he'll have broken legs his whole career.
Lawrence Maroney - He's money hungry not football hungry. He'll be a BUST
DeAngelo Williams - He played in the CUSA, enough said.

Next Year's top 5:

Brady Quinn - Notre Dame
Gaines Adams - Clemson
Drew Stanton - Michigan State
Jeff Samardzija- Notre Dame
Kenny Irons - Auburn

Couldn't have said it any better....

"It bothers me that many churches are simply saying, "Don't read the book and don't see the movie." The George Mason patriots!

I had them going out in the first round to Michigan State.

An 11 seed in the final four. How can you not pull for them, unless your an LSU, UCLA or Florida fan.

I mean come on, they beat, Michigan State, UNC, Witchita State and UCONN.

These NUMBERS, mean alot: 6, 3, 7, 1.

They go HIGH to LOW, HIGH to LOW. So if the pattern stays the same, it's going to be a LOW seed that they beat next, in FLA. Which Ultimately means, that UCLA must beat LSU to be in the title game, so that G.M. has a shot at winning! That really doesn't make sense, but I heard someone say that the "stars are in line" for G.M... and the numbers definately make more sense than the stars "aligning" for Mason.

What did George Mason have to lose coming into this tourney? NOTHING.

What did George Mason have to lose after beating, Michigan State? NOTHING

What did George Mason have to lose after beating UNC? NOTHING

What did George Mason have to lose after beating Witchita State? NOTHING

What did George Mason have to lose after beating UCONN? NOTHING

What will George Mason have to lose after beating FLORIDA, if it happens? NOTHING

If they make it that far, which I whole heartedly believe will happen, they have nothing to lose but EVERYTHING to gain!

They are on the MAP! If I was good enough to play college ball, but wasn't good enough to play for a big name program, and I didn't get recruited to play for my favorite school, I would play for G.M.! And that's what they have to gain. A colonial school, in the final four!

I guarantee everyone will have them through the first round next year, if they make it!

George Mason, isn't going to be a powerhouse and I am not saying they will ever be elite... I'm just enjoying this while I can.

GO PATRIOTS!

free post

It's 2:10 am and I am at work... wow, what fun! This is the joy of having a crappy job at Anmed.

Thank you Gonzaga. Thank you for SCREWING me over. Just when I thought I could finally depend on someone to lift me up, you guys go and lose to UCLA, the armpit of Los Angelas. The pornstache was on the rise, it almost made a comeback, thanks to Adam Morrison, but almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. When you see a 20 something male, with a pornstache, lying on the floor, crying like a baby... it just doesn't do good for the numbers. I almost grew a ron jeremy stache, until I saw him lying on the floor, CRYING like a teenage girl that got dumped after giving it up to the highschool heart throb ----

Ok I am back at home now. I got super busy at work while I was posting that, and I left before I could finish it, it is now 6:30 pm.

I'm pretty hacked about the bracket. For one, I only have 2 of my final four teams left. UCONN could still win it, but who knows. I'm in a "bracket pool" with a bunch of guys from work, and there's one girl, my girlfriend... and guess who's leading... No it's not me, the sultan of bracketolegy, it's the queen of the Josh... She's killing us all... she picked LSU over DUKE and UCLA over the ZAGS. Why does it work out that way? She has watched a total of two basketball games her whole life, and both of which were highschool games. God's funny.

Well it's off to date night with the "wife", girlfriend, or whatever it's considered these days.

O - U - T

A round of applause...

Hooray! Not even half of first marriages are still lasting. That gives us singles something to live for doesn't it? And also you that are in your first marriage.

I'm a firm believer in keeping the marriage alive. There's always a way to fix it, after all, you had to be in love at some point. If your marriage is on the ropes and you think you've tried everything... give GOD a shot. It happens every year... a team that played pretty much NOBODY all year long, and virtually would have sucked had they played in a tougher conference, comes in and beats a dang good team in the opening round. Or the flipside, teams like Kentucky and Georgetown finally come to life and beat the team that you picked. And of course you can't forget the 12/5 guessing game... which 12 seed will beat the 5 seed? Utah State over Washington? NO ... Kent State over Pittsburgh? NO ... How many of you had one of those? Washington lost me a POINT! Just when you think "the CUSE" is going to catch fire and rip through a couple of rounds, the dang AGGIES go and ruin those points for you! On the bright side, a couple of LOW seeds did do it for me... UW Milwaulkee, Bucknell, Montana and NC State...

So I picked 23 right in the first round - Not bad - but not good either. I'm standing 5th in the standings, and that's even being tied up with 4 other people. But tomorrow is a new day! MORE UPSETS, MORE VICTORIES, MORE DEFEAT, MORE MADNESS! I can't wait, i've caught the FEVER. I'm getting the March FLU BABY! Call a doctor I think I am getting sick! I'm coughing up upsets left and right. YEAH BABY! ok - that was the best Dick "i'm a frigging idiot" Vital I could do!

Cheers to you little school that beats the big daddy! It was your day to shine, and that you did, enjoy your night of cold beers, hot sex with girls that have VD's that only want to bone you because your on T.V. and for some unknown reason that makes them more of a whore and more popular, hang-overs and a second round loss, because you don't care, you upset the big daddy and that's why you came to the tourney to begin with... Enjoy this night, because reality hits Saturday and Sunday, YOU STILL SUCK! Blind Squirrels find acorns every now and then, and fat guys get laid too. I love how the first round upset is supposed to bring in big name recruits... riiiiight, what school has become a big time player in the NCAA tourney after upsetting a high seed in the first round? As far as I know, NOBODY. I could be wrong, but I am thinking, NOBODY.

Happys St. Pattys Day to all you drunkards... He has excellent form in the pocket, and looks like a pro on every throw (when he has time)

Tye Hill will be a definate first rounder. I am guessing in the top 20.

Jay Cutler didn't look as good as everyone else said he did. I don't see why people think he is a top 10 pick.

Brodie Croyle looked confused at times. He'll probably go second day in the draft.

Michael Robinson - what was he? QB, WR, RB? He rushed for more yards than anyone else on the team. That won't make it at QB at the next level, unless your names Vince Young.

DJ Shockley - I felt bad for you bro. You just didn't have a good week. Good luck. Hopefully you'll turn out to be like Hines Ward.

Darrell Hackney - how tall are you, 5'7"? no really, 5'11 doesn't cut it these days in the NFL.

I can't remember his name, but the RB from Washington State looked stellar at times. Kinda Reggie Bush'esque, but not quite.

I think Charlie goes in the 3rd round, maybe to the Dolphins... I still think he'd be great in Detroit with those two recievers they have up there.

thanks to that guy down in Chucktown that I never see...

Four Jobs I’ve Had

1. Draft season. It's also recruiting season, but that will be later.

There are plenty of Superstars in this years draft class. Lot's of names that you should all know, however there are some that aren't so well known, but will be Round one picks. Here in this post I will run down the NFL draft prospects and give an overview of how I think some of these teams will better themselves.

Here's my top 5 players at each position:

They're big, their ugly and they are important, Offensive Linemen:

1. D'brickshaw Ferguson - Virginia - A 6'5" 300 pound BEAST. Light on his feet, big on the muscles and is so fundamentally sound, you would think he has been playing in the league for years. He's a top 5 draft choice. If Bush and Young stayed in school, he would probably be a top 3 pick.

2. Marcus Neil - Auburn - 6'9"? Are you kidding me? 3 inches from 7 feet tall. His mere size, makes you water at the mouth (football people, football.) He made nice holes for Kenny Irons and gave Cox plenty of time to get the passes off.

3. Max Jean-Gilles - Georgia - 6'4" 340. Kept D.J. Shockley safe (except when running out of his pocket of protection.) He was a big part of Shockleys success, throwing the ball and had even a bigger part in the running games of Danny Ware and Greg Lumpkin... and not to forget, he protected David Greene, for 3 years as well.

4. Eric Winston - Miami - 6'7". Another Beast at OG. Big and sturdy. Defenders don't knock this guy down. Very stable on his feet. Not as fleet of foot as Ferguson, but he's not your typical linemen.

5. Winston Justice - USC (the real USC, trojans) - a 6'6" 300 pounder, has a national championship under his belt and he helped protect, possibly two of the best college football players of all time. Would have been the second O-linmen behind Ferguson, but get's knocked down a couple of knotches because of some legal trouble. He'll probably show out at the combine and increase his status... but he's still a first rounder.

Those five guys, will probably go in the first round, and if not, they won't be there for the later parts of the second. The Texans second pick will be an O-linemen and I think it will possibly be Gilles, if he doesn't get picked up beforehand.

They're too big to be WR's, but too small to stay on the line and block, Tight End:

1. Leonard Pope - Georgia - 6'7". The jolly black giant. If you haven't seen him play, then you missed a magnificent wonder. He plays much taller than 6'7", more like 7'. Reminds me of Antonio Gates of the Chargers, possibly better.

2. Vernon Davis - Maryland - 6'3". I like my TE's a little taller. He might as well, speed up and become a tall wide out. He would be lower on my list, but the guy was awesome at the collegiate level, and probably will excel in the NFL. He's no Heath Miller or Todd Heap, but he'll make a name for himself.

3. Marcedes Lewis - UCLA - 6'6. I love the size. He's strong and has soft hands. He's capable of staying on the line and throwing pro bowl blocks and also rolling out and making unbelievable catches.

4. Dominique Byrd - USC - 6'3". Part of the most explosive offense in NCAA history. If Bush, Jarret and Smith were covered, you could count on Byrd to be open over the middle. He's got good hops and semi- soft hands. Un-canny knack for getting his nose near the ball, when he needs to be there.

5. Anthony Fasano - Notre Dame - 6'5" *no profile*

They're quick, they're sleek and if they're good, they put QB's in the hall of fame, Wide receivers:

1. Santonio Holmes - Ohio State - 5'11". Not quite 6', but plays taller. Very quick and isn't afraid to go over the top and take a hit to make a catch. He's no Randy Moss, but can take some pressure off other players to make big plays.

2. Hank Baskett - New Mexico - 6'4". You have no idea who this guy is, and that's because his team ran the table in reverse. It's hard to put a guy at the top or even in the top 5, but this guy can play. He's got the height and the weight you look for in a wide out. He's a nobody with skill.

3. Chad Jackson - Florida - 6'1". He's got the hops and hands.

4. Martin Nance - Miami (Oh) 6'5". Towers over corners and safeties. He was Big Ben's main target in '03. Had a huge season, with an awesome QB, and can do the same at the next level. Think about what could happen if Big Ben and Nance get back together at the pro level. Scary.

5. Sinorice Moss - The U (Miami)- 5'8". His height is a major concern, he's extremely short, most CB's are taller than him, but that doesn't matter, this guy will outrun just about any corner in the league. Has a big brother already in the Pro's. He knows what it takes, to be a big name receiver. He's one to look for in the future.

This years WR class is the weakest it's been in a while. Not too many big names coming out... but all that means is, that next years class will be much better. Look out for Mike Haas from Oregon State... he's a big time receiver and will be a sleeper.

The real Gun slingers, Quarterback.

1. Matt Leinart - USC - 6'5". Almost the most decorated QB coming out of college. Two time National Champion, Heisman Trophy winner, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm, MVP's, the list goes on and on and on. Has the height to succeed at the next level, he's a sitting duck in the pocket, don't expect for him to evade defenders. Very accurate arm but doesn't have a very strong one, he can bomb it, but not extremely far. He's ready to start.

2. Jay Cutler - Vandy - 6'4". Played on a crummy team and still showcased amazing talent. He hasn't proven himself a leader, but then again, he played at Vandy. If he played on a big time team, he would have been national championship QB and probably would have left school last year. He has the NFL size, The NFL arm, and the NFL offensive linemen speed. He will excel at the next level, but will take a year or so before he is ready to rock out on his on. However, he is better than Alex Smith of the 49ers.

3. Omar Jacobs - Bowling Green - 6'4". Played in the MAC. He has great size. He has swift feet, but uses his arm way more than his legs. He can sling the ball with incredible accuracy. In '04 he set the touchdown to interception ratio with 40 touchdown passes with only 3 interceptions. He did this with NO, big time receivers. Granted it was the MAC, but it's still Division 1 football. He won't get the same numbers at the next level, but is definitely a top tier athlete. He's a mix between Daunte Culpepper, Donovan McNabb and Steve Mcnair... that's three awesome QB's.

4. Vince Young - Texas - 6'5". National Champion, upended the two time defending National Champion USC Trojans by himself. Led the nation in passing efficiency. Has the awesome ability to hit a guy when he is open. Has outstanding speed. Can't be brought down. Incredibly strong. He would be number one, but he uses his legs almost as much as his arm. That's a big no no in the NFL. Michael Vick is a prime example. Young is worth a draft pick, but I wouldn't build my team around him. Look at the Falcons for an example of why. Young's throwing mechanics, well, they suck. He has a nasty side arm flip delivery. If he was 3 inches shorter he would be hitting his O-linemen in the back of the head, and on the flip side, if he was 3 inches taller, he wouldn't have to change his delivery. You might get 5 good years out of him, but I wouldn't bet the farm on Vince Young. He's ranked so high, because who knows what he can do, or how he will fair. If he changes his delivery and stays in the pocket, he's a QB for the ages.

5. Charlie Whitehurst - Clemson - 6'4". Up and down career. Set numerous passing records at Clemson. Had a 3,500 yard season, that's not a fluke, you can't throw 3,500 by accident. He's proven himself a leader. Very emotional player. Has the size to make it at the next level. Amazing throwing power with above average accuracy. Not a mobile QB. He can thread the needle, throw the screen, bomb it deep and get over the O-line on the goal line. He's a good pick. Just look what he did his sophomore season with Youngblood and Hamilton, now think about what he could do with a Mike Williams and Roy Williams in Detroit. Tell this guy he can't do it, and he'll do it. He beat Miami, Florida State (2x), Tennessee, South Carolina (4x), and TAMU. Should excel at the next level, I wouldn't throw him in the mix real early, but I would take a chance on him. Possibly a 2nd round pick, at worst a 3rd round. It all depends on how he does at the Combine and Senior Bowl.

I will be back later on to finish the list, starting off with Running backs.

OUT

if you missed it... shame on you.

The last college football game of the season just finished a couple hours ago... I am still in shock.

That was probably among the top 10 games I have ever seen... it didn't top the USC vs. Notre Dame game... but was mighty close.

The Longhorns triumphed over my Trojans. 41 to 38... or should I say Vincent Young triumphed?

over 450 yards total offense from Mr. Young... made me sick to my stomache.

I was damn certain that the 2 time defending AP champions would prevail and make it a 3rd, but the three peat was stopped dead in its tracks on 4th down late in the 4th quarter... Len'dale should have ran to the RIGHT, not the left. Why not have Bush in? Why not scrap the run up the gut, and Play action pass... why not pull a Notre Dame 4th down QB sneak? Why just run to the left in hope that number 21 can push through?

What if USC stopped Texas on that final 4th down, that Vince scored on? I know what, Texas would be going back home empty handed, while Matt Leinart and President Bush hoisted the ADT national championship trophy over their shoulders.... but that didn't happen... Vince spread the D out, and did what everyone except for the linebackers expected... Ran to the right for a touchdown (practically untouched).

I reckon Texas deserved it... if you can't stop a guy that repeatadly does the same thing, then I reckon you don't deserve a third title.

Congrats Texas. Congrats Vince. Congrats Mac Brown.... You ruined my night!

But news break for Vince... that running crap won't work in the NFL (Take your role model, Michael Vick, for example) ... you better get that passing game perfected and rid yourself of that nasty side arm throwing style before you declare yourself to the Pro's... Cause one too many runs out of that pocket, and your lanky ass will be in a body cast in the NFL.

Good luck to Leinart, Bush and White in the NFL. Fight ON!

Bush and White set the new record for touchdowns by a pair of running backs... I believe it was 100... the former holders of the record were Glenn Davis and Blanchard (heisman trophy winners) from Army.

Oh well I am OUT!

Reggie Reggie Reggie

Yesterday, after finishing up a delicious meal at the Ryan's "Steak" house on Clemson BLVD in Anderson, I ran across two Clemson football players entering the resturaunt... Mr. Chansi Stuckey and the awesome REGGIE MERRIWEATHER!

You don't have to be a social expert to know that most football players are jackasses.

I've met an ran across numerous atheletes during my years:

Let's start off whith Charlie Whitehurst: Laid back kinda guy, real sketchy, wears his hat down over his eyes and pretends to be on the phone, so that he doesn't have to talk to people (I am guessing that is why).

Cole Downer: One word: Cocky.

Jad Dean: Real quiet guy, looks even more like a 12 year old in person... seems nice though. Huge Calf muscles.

Xavier Littleberry: Met this guy in MacDonalds... he ordered a cheeseburger and didn't have enough money to pay for it... he tried to play the "I'm a football player" line, and got shot down. I offered to pay, he said "nah man, thanks anyways" and turned around and walked out. He refers to himself as the "X", if you ask him what his name is.

Michael Hamlin : Doesn't say much, I guess he's a superstar.

Justin Miller: Ass-HOLE. Ran into him last year at the midnight release of NCAA football 2005. Cocky and arrogant.

Duane Coleman: Obniouxly funny! but had the "superstar" swagger.

Barry Richardson: he's a friggin MOUNTAIN. looks like he'd like to rip your head off.

Cole Chason: Complete and utter jackass. A wanna be frat boy. Pops his collar.

Thomas Austin: For some reason, this guys a ladies man...

Tim Parr: Yes, he's a reserve, but the guy is friggin hillarious... and also, oddly enough, a ladies man as well... it must have something to do with football...

Soooooo onto the mackdaddy of them all... Mr. Reggie Merriweather: he has got to be the nicest football player that I have ever met. The guy never stops smiling. And when you say something to him, he actually listens and gives you an answer that is fulfilling and not just some crap to get you out of his face.

On Monday me and the wife went out shopping, well while out shopping our little tummies started desiring some food, so what better place than Ryan's steak house. After the meal (which wasn't so fulfilling as I had hoped) we raced to the car... mainly because she had a boat load of my presents for Christmas in the trunk, and I happened to have the keys and I was racing to beat her to see what she had got me. Ok, so while we are arguing about me trying to "spoil" my Christmas, I notice a family walking towards the car. The older man in the family had an orange Clemson hat on and a Shrine bowl T-shirt, well automatically I thought that it was a proud parent of some highschool football athlete because the two younger men that were with him looked athletically fit. Well it didn't register with me who these people were until they got past my car... then it hit me... "That's Reggie friggin Merriweather and Chansi Stuckey"... I had to do it ... I opened the car door and shouted "REGGIE"... he turned around and looked like "who the heck is this", and then I said "hold up a second." He stopped and had a huge smile on his face. I said , "I just wanna thank you for being friggin awesome on that field, you are great!" He said, "thanks, what's your name?" I told him my name and that I was in the band... he said, "that's awesome, you guys are great." Then he pointed out that the other guy that was with him was his roomate Chansi Stuckey, he threw his hands up and I threw mine up at him... after a few seconds of awkward silence, I said, "Good luck, we'll see ya in Florida"... he said "thanks" and gave me the "thug hug"...

all around, great guy.

OUT

do ya ever?

Have you ever ran into an old friend from highschool and have a small "hey how ya doing " conversation, and then when it's over, ponder about what highschool was like and how hanging out with that person was fun? However, I am back, for how long, I don't know, that doesn't matter. On to what does matter... CLEMSON, kicking the S.H.I.T. out of NCSTATE. This is the only game that I am not attending this year, I have hella school work to complete and two test on Friday, and if I had went to the game I wouldn't have got back until Saturday and I would have big zero's on test.

I occassionly will BS around with people about predictions and what not, I don't go the the extent the gnomes do, matter a fact, I don't do anything close to what they do, I am lazy, the thing they do takes time. There's no way I would dare sit down and calculate all that crap... you must remember I failed Math. However, this is what I do and here's why we are going to win the game. Clemson was 5-0 in overtime coming in this season, we also came in this season with a 0'fer record on thursday night espn games (once again I am lazy and don't feel like looking up the actual record, but take my word for it), actually we have been 0'fer on thursday night games period since we beat South Carolina way back in the day, i'm guessing the 60's or 70's time frame. Well since we came in undefeated in overtime, and we now are 5-2, it's in the cards for us to go the opposite way and win one on a thursday night.

There's no math involved in this whatsoever, it's personal oppinion -- Clemson wins BIG...... or ..... we lose BIG. There's not going to be a gray area or a "buzzer" beater.

NCSTATES secondary is not that good... they are decent, but they are not that good. Charlie should have a huge day through the air... i'm gonna say 350 and a 3-4 td's.
that's how they win the game.

To lose the game, throw the ball to the left and right 10 times on 3rd down... try to run up the middle on the best D-line in the country.

34 - 17 Clemson - is my final prediction.

If we lose, i'm still a fan, i'm just not a happy one.

OUT

CUBC

I've got some Clemson vs Boston field pics on the way, I got some pretty good shots of Chuck and Cole... and I even got some rookies to pose together before the game... I am exhausted. For those of you that live in a box or were ahmish for this past weekend, Clemson squeaked by TAMU 25-24, Jad Dean set a new kicking record with 6 field goals, I punched a guy in the nose, I walked a total of 22 miles in 3 days, Chuck Whitehurst didn't look as "astonishing" as everyone predicted, James Davis was awesome in his collegiate opening game and yes gas prices are finally coming down.

I will have at least one free ticket for grabs all season long, possiblity two, and maybe, just maybe, if you're lucky, three.

I had a blast this weekend... You can't go wrong with a win over a top 25 team. Now if we can just keep this going and not fall into the pit of despair that we have fell into the previous two years, then we will be doing AWESOME, and quite possibly playing for the first ACC championship...

FSU looked horrible, whose gonna be the go to QB?
Miami looked equally horrible, but Kyle Wright did show some improvment
VT, most likely will play for the title
Boston College, I have no idea, I didn't hear or see them play.
Duke, they suck, bottom line.
North Carolina, can you say, "Darian Durant has left the building"?, they suck also.
GT, they looked good against Auburn, but Auburn lost everyone they had last year.
Wake, they've gotta running back, and thats it.
NCSTATE, best defensive line in the nation, bar-none, but they lack everywhere else.
Maryland, I have no idea... hopefully Chuck will light up their conerbacks and have a break through game.
Virgina, top 25 team, but they lost what they had last year as well, but it doesn't matter because we don't play them.

Well I am off to push some people around the hospital... I filled my truck up and a couple of carryon gas containers. I still can't fathom this. I heard yesterday that come Monday, they will be rationing off gas. I don't remember the 70's gas crisis, partly because I was a gleam in my fathers eye, but I have heard the stories. Each family would get a coupon or ticket for gas, and you could only get so many gallons from each gas station. They said you would have to drive from gas station to gas station, just to make it home. Is it really going to get this bad? I have so many questions that I don't know the answers to. I feel like the goverment somehow is screwing me up the butt.

I just saw a gas price sign that said $5.87 for regular. WHAT? you've gotta be kidding me. Is it really this bad??? This blows my mind. A couple of oil rigs or whatever they are, get knocked off, and the whole country goes into a gas crisis... This country is not run by the president, it's run by the oil and gas companies. When we run out of fuel, America shuts down. I am not trying to sound like I am scared to death or anything, because I am not, I just do not know much of anything about gas and oil.

I saw yesterday that on a regular day we have like, 220 billion barrels of gasoline or something like that... and since Katrina, we have reduced down to 195 billion barrels. Those are huge friggin numbers. theres not that much of a dip. I just don't understand it... someone please explain... I am OUT!

bad bad news clemson fans

You might not be allowed to enter the game if you have recieved a student ticket from someone... there's a big sign on the ticket booth that says "must present tiger1 card and student ticket for admission to the game".

ain't that some crap?! i'm just shooting y'all a warning!

Don't you just hate.....

Pre - "Fall" cleaning...

As if spring cleaning isn't enough... we have "Pre - 'Fall' cleaning". The summer time is filled mostly with relaxation and being a complete slob, so therefore the house get's quite messed up. My room looks like the Tazmanian devil came running through ... i've got clothes everywhere, most of which I don't wear anymore. I worked at AE a couple years back, the same one that Brad worked at, and I would buy clothes just to be buying clothes. I was kinda like a girl, probably worse, I had to have something new everytime I went to work, whether it was a necklace, a shirt, boxers, shoes, pants, socks, ect.... and I have accumulated so many more clothes over the years that it is absolutely ridiculous. I'd say that 50 - 70 percent of the clothes are pointless to keep because for one, they don't fit and secondly, they are probably out of style. But I keep using the same excuse, "I 'plan' on losing weight" and "that will come back in style".

It's pretty sad that I already sound like my dad when it comes to style. I used to poke fun at my dad because he would wear some clothes that were "so 1988"... short shorts, funky looking polo's, memebers only jackets... and it is just now that I realize why he wore stuff like that... it's what he's comfortable with. I went into Express for Men the other day (I try to keep up with style changes, but not as much as I used to), I saw a few things that I would wear and by a few I mean exactly 4, the rest of the store was complete trash. They should change the name to "The Elton John collection" or "Queer clothes, for straight guys... or guys that think they are straight - **wink**". They should have kept the name, "Structure"... Express has always been known as a WOMANS store. I understand that they changed over to become more "business like", but if I showed up to a meeting with a shirt on that had sequins and glitter spread all over it, I would probably for one, be branded something I am not, and secondly, unemployed. They say "Queer is the new Straight"... not for me.

After the Express for Men expierence, I journyed down to Hollister, they had some alright looking stuff, some stuff that I would actually wear, and then again they had some stuff that I wouldn't be caught dead in. I thought sexual inuendo shirts were "so 2001", but yet Hollister still rocks them, and thousands of college kids think they are the stuff because their shirt says, "Still looking for Deep Throat", "Major Johnson", "Double the measure, Twice the pleasure"... If you ever see me wearing a shirt that says something like that I give you permission to knock me out. "Hollister: cali styles for guys and girls", is California that messed up? If so, No wonder it's about to fall off into the Pacific. 12 year olds walking around with a "Still looking for Deep Throat" shirts... aint that some crap, do you remember what we wore when we were 12? I remember having a Nike shirt that had Michael Jordan on it. I sure as heck didn't have a "Deep Throat" shirt. Sex and kids just keep getting younger and younger, pretty soon they'll be slapping a "deep throat" shirt on their new born babies.

Well thats it for today... See you guys 8 days from now! Hey B-Rad... I gotta get your cell number before saturday! Football post

If you can't tell I am pumped about football season being near. I love the sport of football... I used to be the biggest basketball fan ever until I realized I was white.

It was a pretty dramatic day in my life, but I have moved on and found a caucasion freindly sport. No offense to people that love basketball, or even black people. The sports just not for me, or for white people as it seems. Even though Andrew Bogut went first in the NBA draft...

Football is just awesome and basketball is just not. In basketball, unless you have a 42inch vertical jump, you're pretty much worthless to any team. Football however doesn't require the legs of a "Flea" (flea's can jump really friggin high... if a flea was 6ft tall it could literally jump over the Empire state buliding)... If you can throw the ball with accuracy and bomb it down the field, you can be a quaterback (there's much more skill involved than that, but that works for back yard and flag football). If you can power the ball up the middle and gain 3.8 yards a carry, you can be one hell of a running back. If you're 6ft+, have decent speed and can catch a ball, you can be a running back. If you're a complete tub of lard but can hold your ground and push guys your size away from your quaterback, you can be one heck of an Offensive line men. If you can boom the ball down the field with your leg (I can do this. Cole Chason, look out i'm trying out for punter, you cocky little prick... there's a whole 'nother story behind me saying cocky little prick. I will tell later) you can be the kicker or punter. <--- all that crap probably didn't make much sense, because I am really friggin hyper right now! But anyways football is awesome.

There's a live football game on tomorrow morning... or tonight, whichever way you look at it. I call it night because it's around the time I normally go to sleep. The Atlanta Falcons are play the Indianapolis Colts at 0500 hours on ESPN 2, if you aren't up that late or that early, and you want to watch it, it will re-air tomorrow night at 1800 hours on ESPN2. I figured this year i'd try out the fantasy football league. I never have done it before and I saw how it has swept the country here as of late. I found a free one on NFL.com ... I saw that some sites charge like 20 bucks to join one of those leagues. I have no earthly idea how to play or what not, but if I can handle Madden games, I am sure I can handle the fantasy world...

The group name is Clemson Football 2005 ... the draft for this league is August 8th... thats a Monday, the night before Madden comes out. I have had this issue eating me alive for the past few days, it almost got the better of me today actually. For a minute there I could see my anger coming out and my "smart-elleck"(spelling?) attitude... but I fought it off and overcame it this time. I can already see a better me. And hey, I haven't dropped an Fbomb on here in any of my recent post. Now in my everyday language, one will fly every now and then. It's just habbit. It's like smoking, but actually worse. Back to the anxiety thing... Life throws you all kinds of things... Lemons, Tomatoes, non-acceptance letters, bricks, bills you can't pay, relationship problems, eggplants, ect... It's all in how you handle what's been thrown at you. Lemons - throw it back and ask for a lime and a Corona. Tomatoes - make a tomatoe sandwhich. Non-acceptance Letters - I still haven't figured out how to properly handle that one. Bricks - (it sucks when bricks get thrown, they hurt pretty dawg gone bad) Build a house. Bills you can't pay - play the lottery and hope to win. Relationship problems - read Song of Solomon, buy a dozen roses, bucket ice cream, a Luther Vandross CD and pull an all-nighter. Eggplants - Throw 'em back and ask, "Honestly, who throws a friggin Eggplant?"... See lifes full of all kinds of junk like that. And I am sure everyone has had their share, so I will share my discovery with you... check out Matthew 6:25 next time you get bogged down with worrying about something... I have been staring at the blank screen for a few minutes now and I just can't come up with a way to say this the right way, so I will just try to do as I normally do, and go with the flow. So let's start with where I first realized I had a problem... Yesterday I recieved my "Acceptance" letter from Clemson. I figured I would be a "Shoe-in" (I have no idea how to spell that word, so I tried my best), well I was wrong. I missed the Minumum GPA requirement for the English department. I was pretty TICKED about it. I actually went off the deep end, I was cursing, throwing things around, blaming everybody except myself. I went as far to say that 70 percent of the football team probably didn't have anywhere near the requirements for acceptance, but they are overlooked because they are football players. I even said that they couldn't speak correct English and that they don't deserve to be in college anyways. I blamed everyone and criticized every race, I looked like a complete idiot. So therefore I have a huge ANGER problem. Some people say it's because I am a red head, but they're wrong. The problem is the condition of the Heart. No I do not have a physical heart problem, I have a spiritual heart problem.
After I cooled down yesterday evening, I started thinking about what I was going to do next. I came to the realization that I will have to attend TCTC for yet another semester. I will only have to take two or three classes to bring the GPA up enough to get in, I didn't miss it by much. But that's not where I had my big change or "epiphany". I still had this huge chip on my shoulder, I was still upset and complaining to myself and God, but I was doing it silently. Well I went to church at Newspring as I normally do on Sundays. The church is awesome, I am always into the message and I never once look at my watch wondering what time the preacher is going to get off stage so I can make dinner plans. This week was different. Perry was not there so they had a guest speaker come from out of town to fill in his spot. The guy was awesome.

He started off by asking, "How many of you have ever been on the 'Night Shift'?" I looked around, alot of hands went up, heck I have been on the night shift so I slipped my hand up. Then he said, "Now most of you are thinking that the 'Night Shift' is the time that you have worked." He then said, "Here's a good example of the 'Night Shift'. You go into work and as soon as you get there the boss calls you into his office and he says, 'You've gave us ten great years of service, but unfortunately your department is being downsized and we are going to have to let you go', You're now on the night shift. Another example, You come home early from work with roses for your wife and upon entering the house you find her in bed with another man. You're now on the 'Night Shift'." He began to give more examples of the night shift, I won't put down anymore, but I am sure you get the picture of where its going. Basically, there's a sudden unexpected change in your life, whether it be work related, family related or anything. He said, "it can happen to anybody. Life's not fair". (And that's where it hit me) Then he said, "And God never meant it to be fair"... He said, "Everbodys got problems and disaters that happen, some people just deal with them differently." If you wanna listen to the message you can do so HERE ...

But basically I got alot out of the message... There's a long road ahead of me, I am going to be dealing with alot of things. I am going to try to change the way I talk and act, pretty much the whole nine yards. I have already changed a few things on the blog, the disclaimer has been removed and the "A-holes" has been changed to "Awesome people". I am not going to delete any post or change the bad words, I believe a man's past should never be covered up, but it should be unveiled so he can learn from his mistakes and others can see a definate change. Now I may get out of line every once in a while, but like I said it's a work in progress.

It's not like I just got saved or anything, I have been a Christian for years, but I haven't shown it. That's what I meant by having a heart problem. I think it's about time I showed it. Well that's pretty much about it...
